South East Europe eSIM

Best South East Europe eSIM for Multi-Country Travel in 2026

Taking more than a month to travel through the region? Our South East Europe eSIM offers 20 GB for 60 days or 50 GB for 90 days across 11 included countries. Its longer validity is the main difference from our Balkans packages, which cover the same country list.

We provide mobile data, not a local phone number, standard voice calls or carrier SMS. Use a compatible, unlocked phone and check every stop against the supported-country list before buying.

Choose 60 or 90 Days of Validity

These are fixed-data allowances, not daily amounts. Choose for both your total usage and the period you need: 20 GB for 60 days or 50 GB for 90 days. Read the selected option’s instructions to confirm when validity begins.

There are no data plans found.

The available fixed options checked on 16 October 2026 were €55.76 for 20 GB / 60 days and €144.54 for 50 GB / 90 days. No packages appeared in the Unlimited tab. The live selector above is the place to recheck availability and price before purchase.

If your trip fits within 30 days, compare our Balkans data plans before paying for longer validity. For a route outside this 11-country list, compare the actual destinations rather than choosing by the regional name.

The 11 Countries Included

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia are listed in the supported-country panel. Other destinations are not included simply because they are nearby or commonly grouped with the region.

why this particular package

A Longer Window for a Regional Journey

Beyond 30 Days

The 60- and 90-day options are worth comparing when a month-long validity period does not cover your stay.

One Regional Allowance

Budget the selected data amount across the journey. Crossing a border does not give you a fresh 20 GB or 50 GB.

No Card Swap at Each Stop

Keep the same installed eSIM for the included countries, with local network registration subject to coverage.

Your Usual Internet Apps

Use messaging, maps and email over mobile data. This package does not replace a telephone service if you need ordinary calls.

read the network panel

Country Coverage Is Not a Speed Guarantee

Mixed Technologies

The list includes 3G, 4G and 5G entries. Albania, for example, shows Vodafone-Albania 4G and One Albania 3G.

Location Still Matters

A country being included does not guarantee reception on every mountain road, rural route or inside every building.

Same Listed Partners as Balkans

Our comparison found the same network entries for all 11 countries. Longer validity is not evidence of faster service.

Check Before Relying on Hotspot

Confirm tethering permission for your selected option. A large data allowance alone does not establish hotspot support.

Build the Choice Around Your Route

01

List Every Country

Include transfers and onward stays where you want mobile data, not just your first destination.

02

Count Your Travel Days

Work out whether 30 days would be sufficient before choosing the longer 60- or 90-day option.

03

Estimate Total Data

Include navigation, calls through apps, uploads and background use across the whole period.

04

Read the Timing Rules

Check when validity starts and follow the supplied installation instructions. Do not assume the purchase date and activation date are interchangeable.

installation and use

Prepare Your Data Line for the First Included Country

01

Confirm Compatibility

Your exact phone model must support eSIM and be unlocked for other providers.

02

Keep the Instructions Handy

Read the installation and activation details supplied with your purchase, especially the start of validity.

03

Install with Wi-Fi

Install when instructed using a stable connection. Label the line so you can distinguish it from your home SIM.

04

Select the Travel Line

In an included country, select the eSIM for mobile data and enable data roaming on that line as instructed. Disable automatic data switching to your home SIM.

05

Test After Registration

Turn off Wi-Fi briefly and load a webpage once the phone registers on a supported network. If you need help, contact support without deleting the installed eSIM.

South East Europe, Balkans or Europe Extra?

Prices below were checked in EUR on 16 October 2026. The data amounts match, but the validity periods do not: the lower-priced alternatives shown here last 30 days.

Offer20 GB50 GBDestination difference
South East Europe€55.76 / 60 days€144.54 / 90 daysThe 11 countries listed above
Balkans€33.46 / 30 days€73.61 / 30 daysThe same 11-country list
Europe Extra€19.18 / 30 days€43.27 / 30 days37 destination records, but four of these 11 countries are absent

Europe Extra does not list Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro or North Macedonia. For the seven countries shared with South East Europe, its published network entries match. That does not prove identical routing, priority or speeds.

Balkans also offers smaller fixed allowances and Unlimited options. Choose it for a shorter trip when those options fit; consider South East Europe when you need the longer validity. Do not assume that buying several shorter packages provides the same activation or renewal arrangements as one longer package.

Budget Data Across Several Weeks

  • Download offline maps while on Wi-Fi before moving to another stop.
  • Keep accommodation addresses and tickets available offline.
  • Review cloud photo backups before leaving them on mobile data.
  • Use Wi-Fi for large system and app updates where practical.
  • Include video calls and uploads in your allowance estimate.
  • Check usage during the trip rather than waiting until the final week.
  • Allow for any connected devices only after confirming hotspot permission.

Seven Details Worth Checking

  • Every destination where you intend to use the plan is explicitly included.
  • Your chosen validity period covers the journey under the plan’s start rules.
  • The fixed allowance suits the whole trip, not just the first stop.
  • Your exact phone supports eSIM and is unlocked.
  • You understand that this is mobile data without a local phone number.
  • Your home SIM settings will not switch mobile data back automatically.
  • You have offline essentials for places without reception.
three different decisions

Let Duration and Destinations Decide

A Trip Within 30 Days

Check Balkans first for the same country list with smaller or lower-priced 30-day fixed options. Extra validity is useful only if you need it.

A Longer Regional Stay

Compare the 60- and 90-day South East Europe options against your total data use and the dates you need service.

A Wider European Route

Check Europe Extra’s destination list. Its larger count does not cover every country in this regional package.

South East Europe eSIM Questions

What is different from the Balkans eSIM?
The checked country and network lists are identical. South East Europe offers 20 GB for 60 days and 50 GB for 90 days, while the compared Balkans fixed options last up to 30 days. The main distinction is validity, not additional countries or a demonstrated speed advantage.
Does Europe Extra cover all the same countries?
No. Europe Extra does not list Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro or North Macedonia. It includes the other seven countries in this package, alongside additional European destinations.
Are 20 GB and 50 GB daily allowances?
No. These are total fixed-data allowances for the selected validity period. Moving between included countries does not reset the allowance.
Is an Unlimited option available?
No Unlimited packages appeared for South East Europe in our 16 October 2026 check. Balkans and Europe Extra showed Unlimited options with their own conditions. Recheck the live selector before purchase.
When does the 60- or 90-day period begin?
Follow the activation and validity instructions for your selected option. The public comparison did not establish the exact start trigger, so do not assume that it begins at purchase, installation or first network connection.
Do you provide calls, SMS or a local number?
We provide mobile data, not a local phone number, standard voice calls or carrier SMS. You can use internet calling and messaging apps with the data connection, including WhatsApp registered to your existing number.
Can I expect 5G and hotspot throughout the trip?
No blanket guarantee applies. The country panel lists different technologies, and reception depends on location, device and network availability. Confirm hotspot permission for the selected plan before relying on it.

Choose the Validity Your Journey Needs

Check your countries, dates and expected usage together. If 60 or 90 days is the right window, compare the two South East Europe allowances and read the selected option’s conditions before buying.
