North America eSIM

Best North America eSIM for Multi-Country Travel in 2026

Keep one travel-data profile for a journey through the United States, Canada and Mexico. All three are explicitly listed in our North America package, so you can choose an allowance for the whole itinerary rather than a separate country plan at each stop.

We provide mobile data, not a local phone number, standard voice calls or carrier SMS. If you are visiting just one country, compare its national plan first: regional convenience does not automatically mean a lower price.

Count Your Data Across All Three Countries

Our fixed options include 1 GB for 7 days, 2 GB for 15 days and 3–50 GB for 30 days. The allowance is shared across use in the included countries; entering another country does not provide a fresh allocation or restart validity.

Important! 1GB of full high-speed data where available per 24 hours. Thereafter your data speed will be reduced and will reset on the next 24h period.

Include every day you need service, including transfers and the return journey. Estimate navigation, messages, uploads and any permitted hotspot use across the complete trip, not three identical budgets unless that reflects your actual plans.

Our Unlimited options provide 1 GB of high-speed data where available per 24-hour period, followed by reduced speeds until the next reset. Unlimited does not mean unlimited high-speed data. Check the selected option’s activation and validity instructions, and confirm hotspot permission before relying on a shared connection.

three explicit destinations

Check Where You Will Use the Plan

The published country list contains Canada, Mexico and the United States. The regional name is not proof of coverage in every territory or elsewhere in the Americas. Confirm any destination outside those country entries before purchase.

why choose regional data

Convenience Across Stops, Not a New Plan at Each Border

One Installed Profile

Keep the same travel eSIM for the included destinations instead of managing a separate country profile for each leg.

A Shared Trip Budget

Use the fixed allowance according to your needs across the journey, within the selected validity period.

Your Usual Internet Apps

WhatsApp can keep its existing registered number while maps, email and other apps use the data connection.

Keep Calls Separate

Retain your home line if your phone supports the required dual-SIM setup, but check its call, SMS and roaming charges.

published partner networks

Network Entries Differ by Country

United States

The panel lists Verizon Wireless, AT&T Mobility and T-Mobile with 5G labels.

Canada

Videotron is listed with 4G; Bell Mobility, Rogers and TELUS are listed with 5G.

Mexico

Pegaso and Telcel appear with 4G, alongside AT&T entries with 5G. Check the current panel for the full partner labels.

Technology Is Not a Guarantee

Actual access depends on the plan, phone and local reception. The list does not promise every partner or a particular speed at every stop.

These published entries match the corresponding national products in our comparison. Matching labels do not establish identical routing, priority or performance. Keep essential maps and booking details offline for gaps in reception.

Work Through the Itinerary Before Checkout

01

List the Countries

Include transit stays where you need data. Do not assume a nearby territory is included by geography alone.

02

Count the Required Days

Match validity to the full journey and read what starts the period. A border crossing does not extend it.

03

Estimate Uneven Usage

A short stop and a week of driving may use different amounts. Compare that real pattern with separate country allowances.

04

Confirm Your Phone

Check eSIM support on your exact model and confirm that it is unlocked for other providers.

installation and first connection

Prepare the Profile Before You Need Mobile Data

01

Read the Selected Option’s Instructions

Confirm installation timing and the start of validity before adding the eSIM.

02

Install with a Stable Connection

Use Wi-Fi and the supplied QR code or installation method. Keep those details private.

03

Label Your Travel Line

Choose a recognisable name so you can distinguish the regional eSIM from your home line.

04

Select It in an Included Country

Enable the profile, choose it for mobile data and enable data roaming for that line as instructed. Disable automatic data switching to the home SIM.

05

Test After Network Registration

Turn Wi-Fi off briefly and load a webpage. Recheck after changing countries; network registration can take time. Contact support if needed without deleting the profile.

Compare the Cost with Your Actual Stops

Examples checked in EUR on 16 October 2026 use matching allowances and validity. National packages cover their own listed destination; the North America package covers all three country entries.

For one-country visits, compare the USA, Canada or Mexico plan first. The regional price is closest to Canada in these examples; the difference is larger for a USA-only or Mexico-only stay.

For a multi-country trip, compare your total regional needs with the separate allowances you would really buy for each leg. Adding three identical national packages can overstate your requirements. Conversely, a regional allowance may be convenient even when a tailored combination of national plans costs less.

Include These Uses in Your Data Budget

  • Airport transfer details and accommodation messages
  • Maps and searches between overnight stops
  • Transport changes and booking confirmations
  • Internet calls and messages across time zones
  • Work files and email attachments downloaded away from Wi-Fi
  • Photo uploads and background cloud backups
  • Other devices using hotspot, if permitted by your plan
before the next country

Keep the Same Plan, but Check the Connection

  • Confirm that the next destination is explicitly included.
  • Keep the remaining allowance and expiry in mind; neither resets at the border.
  • Allow the phone to register on a supported local network.
  • Check that the regional eSIM remains selected for mobile data.
  • Prevent unintended mobile-data fallback to your home SIM.
  • Keep the next address, tickets and essential maps accessible offline.
  • Do not infer continuous road, rural or indoor coverage from a country entry.
three common choices

Choose for the Journey, Not the Regional Name

A Single-Country Stay

A national plan may meet the same data need for less. Check existing home-plan roaming as well before buying an additional service.

Two or Three Included Countries

One regional profile avoids managing separate country allowances. Check that its validity covers every leg.

A Route Beyond These Entries

Resolve the extra destination separately. This product is not a promise of service throughout every place geographically associated with North America.

For route preparation and offline backups, use our North America travel internet guide. The product options here provide the current allowance, validity and price comparison.

North America eSIM FAQs

Which countries are explicitly included?
The supported-country panel lists Canada, Mexico and the United States. Do not assume that every North American territory or another nearby destination is included; confirm the exact scope before purchase.
Does the allowance restart when I cross a border?
No. A fixed package is one allowance shared across use in the included countries during its validity. Entering another country does not reset the data or extend the period.
Is the regional plan cheaper than a national one?
Not automatically. In our 16 October 2026 examples, national USA and Mexico plans cost less for the same allowance and validity, while Canada was closer to the regional price. For multiple stops, compare the separate packages you would actually need with one shared regional allowance.
Are the listed networks different from the country products?
The published entries matched the USA, Canada and Mexico national products in our comparison. This does not prove identical routing, priority, speed or access to every partner in every location.
Does it include a phone number or ordinary calls?
We provide mobile data, not a local phone number, standard voice calls or carrier SMS. Internet messaging and calling apps can use the connection, and WhatsApp can keep its existing registered number.
What does Unlimited provide?
The options provide 1 GB of high-speed data where available per 24-hour period, followed by reduced speeds until the next reset. They are not unlimited high-speed plans.
When should I install it, and can I use hotspot?
Use stable Wi-Fi and follow the selected option’s installation and validity-start instructions. Confirm tethering permission before purchase if other devices will depend on the connection.
